The Yamaguchi Barber Shop is a barbershop that was established in the 1930s. Yamaguchi Barber Shop has been operating near the present Hayama Imperial Villa since the 1950s. Once you pass through the curtain of "Ke", the retro interior with a nostalgic Showaera atmosphere and mellow background music will take you away from the hectic daily life and into the "Hayama Time" where slow time flows.
The interior of the store has been in use since the 1950s, with a woodgrain base, lots of Jazz records, and a pendulum clock that makes you feel the history of the store, which also relaxes you.
Yamaguchi Barber Shop is also open at night, with the thirdgeneration owner, Masao Yamaguchi, running the store during the daytime, and the fourthgeneration owner, Taro Yamaguchi, running the store at night.
The lights of the barbershop, which is located near the sea in Hayama at night, are reminiscent of the Bakudat Cafe.
