Ellie is a two year old Golden Retriever that came to our Board and Train program to work on basic obedience skills and to correct undesired behaviors. Ellie was found as a rescue who had been wandering the streets. She was extremely codependent on her owners due to her history. Ellie would make her presence known by pawing at you, jumping on you, or trying to climb in your lap for attention. She struggled with pulling on the leash, lack of accountability of commands, lack of impulse control, unreliable recall, bolting through doors, play biting, counter surfing, and lunging on the leash playfully towards other dogs. Ellie’s owners knew they needed some assistance in helping Ellie gain more confidence and becoming the best version of herself so they reached out to us for help!
