Arkansas Leaders Launch New Foster Care Campaign

As part of National Foster Care Month, Arkansas Department of Human Services Secretary Kristi Putnuam, Gov. Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders, DHS Division of Children and Family Services Tiffany Wright, Arkansas Baptist Children & Family Ministries Executive Director Derek Brown and foster parent Jordan Summers took part in an event on Monday, May 6, 2024. The state is launching a new campaign to engage people who have an impact on kids through education, health care and business. The goal is to ensure the state has more than enough foster homes for kids who need placement, Wright said.
