A recent Forbes article has discussed a new trend known as the "superhero standard” that perpetuates unrealistic ideals, placing immense pressure on men to excel in all aspects of life, including their appearance and performance. This raises the question of who has more pressure
on their image out of men and women? The group all agree that women face more pressure from society when it comes to body image, but Charlene does feel that men face some pressure before they ‘settle down’ and get very comfortable with themselves.
