A cat video featuring one of Simon's longer lasting bleps as he responds to finally being let out of our tornado shelter after the bad storms.

The tornado outbreak on December 1011, 2021 was the largest and most deadly on record for the month of December. Our cats and dog (Simon, Luna, Teddy, and Phoebe) were kept in our tornado shelter with us for over 7 hours while the storms passed.

This video shows footage of Simon, our champagne Burmese cat, after being let out of the tornado room. He was blepping (sticking his tongue out) and on edge after the storms and sirens were over. Simon held his tongue blep for a really long time after this event.

The footage of the thunderstorm with sirens sounding was filmed by me from a basement window after a large tornado had passed our area and we had confirmed by radar and by news outlets that the tornado had missed us and was continuing on a path far away from our home. It was a break in the storms for us (even though we still had thunderstorms in the area). The tornado sirens were sounding to warn people that the tornado was continuing to travel through our county.
