Are magic bands REALLY worth it if you're staying at Shades of Green? In our discussion today we talk about why they are a must for some and unnecessary for others. Since the answer is subjective we go over all of the reasons why we love magic bands and reasons why the cost doesn't always justify the need. While Shades of Green on Walt Disney World Resort is just a few steps away from The Polynesian and the rest of the Disney World Resorts, it's not OFFICIALLY Disney owned. Therefore, the same rules don't apply for Shades guests as they do for Disney Resort guests. We love the new features of the NEW Magic Band + and can't wait to see what other features they roll out in conjunction with the bands over the next few years...but like a lot of things in the park these products can be pricey.
