Apple MacBook Air 13 Not Charging - I/O Board Repair Replacement

This video describes a possible root cause, a defect I/O board, for an Apple MacBook Air 13 not charging with a known good MagSafe Power Adapter and battery in known normal condition. The model shown is a late 2010 type, but the procedure is applicable to many older MacBook Air 13 years.

Using three hand tools I will show you how to open up the MacBook Air 13 and replace the I/O Board assembly, which houses the MagSafe port along with the headphone jack and USB. This is the most common cause of a no charge condition for a MacBook Air that otherwise is working fine.
