Appaarsuit MODIS time sequence 2020
This video is a time sequence of MODIS Terra satellite images of the Pikialasorsuaq region in Northwest Greenland between March 3, 2020 and July 1st 2020. The images shows the formation of the Pikialasorsuaq polynya, and the proximity and instability of the ice edge around the small Island of Appaarsuit. Sources: NASA, USGS, EODIS.
