Anti-Bullying Week 2023: Make A Noise - Official Secondary School film

Follow
Anti-Bullying Alliance

The AntiBullying Alliance has worked with young people and members of school staff to develop our theme for this year's AntiBullying Week: Make A Noise. AntiBullying Week 2023 will take place from Monday 13th to Friday 17th November and you can find out more about how to get involved at www.antibullyingalliance.org.uk/antibullyingweek

Our AntiBullying Week 2023 call to action is:

Too often, we are silent when we see bullying take place, silent about the hurt bullying causes, and silent when we hear bullying dismissed as ‘just banter’.
It doesn't have to be this way.

Of course, we won’t like everyone and we don’t always agree, but we can choose respect and unity.

This AntiBullying Week let’s come together to have discussions about what bullying means to us, how banter can turn into something more hurtful, and what we can do to stop bullying. Together, we can make a difference and take a stand against bullying.

From the playground to Parliament, and from our phones to our homes, let’s make a noise about bullying.

This film is accompanied by resources for schools which can be found here: www.antibullyingalliance.org.uk/abw23secondary

We’d like to extend our thanks to the following:
All the young people involved in developing the theme this year and the school films. Particularly our Young ABA who helped to make this film from Vanguard School, Outwood Grange Academy, Shaftesbury High School, Hewett Academy, Belvidere School & Ark St Albans Academy.
Anton DennyBrowne, the videographer who developed the films for AntiBullying Week 2023.
