Join us as we take a tour of Patrick Torrens' kennel at Rosstulla Gundogs and meet his 5 active English Springer Spaniel dogs, Riot, Tuppence, Logan, Maggie, and Honey. Patrick uses these dogs for hunting ducks and rabbits, and each of them is in different stages of training. In this video, Patrick talks us through kennel life, training, feeding, and even gives us a demonstration of a retrieval with a dummy in the brush with gunshot and in water. He emphasizes that these animals are happy, wellcared for, highly trained, and bred for this purpose. Patrick explains that Working English Springer Spaniels and other well bred Working Gundogs breeds are all selected to be soft mouthed, ensuring that all retrieved game is fit for the table.
