Today's video I cover an ETF that might be better than the S&P 500 ETF, such as Vanguard's VOO, for reaching financial freedom.

We aren't talking about just reaching financial freedom, we are talking about reaching financial freedom EARLY. Yes retiring early without buying VOO!

Don't get me wrong, VOO is a great ETF, I buy VOO every single day, $60 per day, and plan on doing so until I can't do it any longer. However, if you really want more dividend income and dividend growth there COULD be a better ETF and one that still has appreciation similar to the S&P 500.

Therefore, this video covers Vanguard Dividend Appreciation ETF (VIG) and goes over why this could be the best ETF to retire early. Vanguard's VIG has the following metrics:
A dividend yield over 1.75%, better than the S&P 500's ~1.50%
A dividend growth rate of 8.50%, better than the S&P 500's ~5.00%
A 10.89% average return the last 10 years, comparative to the S&P 500's return of 12% over the last 10 years

Therefore, with better yield, better dividend growth and comparable appreciation, could this be the best ETF to reach financial freedom and retire early?

I buy $40 per day of VIG and am considering adding more per day to bring it up to $50 per day. Still am yet to finalize this plan, as I review our household budget of income and expenses, to see if we have room.

What do you think about investing with Vanguard ETFs and specifically investing and buying the VIG ETF to reach financial independence and retiring early? What is your go to ETF to invest that is NOT VOO?
