An epic #food scene isn't the first thing you think of when you hear #detroit, but let us prove you otherwise! During our recent trip to Detroit, we had the opportunity to meet an amazingly talented husband and wife duo, plating up some incredible #dishes!

Almost all the ingredients, locally sourced and grown specifically for this #restaurant, Albena, is definitely a restaurant to keep on your radar. Tucked away at the back of the Siren Hotel, you'll find this beautifully intimate and modern kitchen/communal table, completely removed from the world outside.

Each dish, perfect in its plating, is removed from any refined gains, vegetable and seed oils and refined sugars. Chef Garrett is focused on working with the best partners/farmers/vendors Michigan has to offer, to bring his diners the highest quality ingredients.

Restaurants like these are what we love about what we do. Talented chefs and people, creating some show stopping dishes, in their hometowns and representing where they grew up. We're so happy to have met and worked with the whole Albena team, and we look forward to our returned visit!
