It’s really springtime and we’re here with our May TorontoVancouver real estate roundtable with Urmi, Steve and John!

In what should normally be the busiest real estate market of the year, John and Steve explain slow conditions in Toronto and Vancouver with some nuanced trends. Demand for lowrise homes is low but listings are only rising from a historic low, so it’s a bit of a stalemate still peppered with some bidding wars. On the condo side, listings are climbing and new condo sales are way down, is this the start of a longer condo market dip? Also: how much have delayed interest rate cuts and revised forecasts calling for rates to stay higher longer impacting the market?
