The American Curl is a new, unusual breed of cat caused by a natural mutation. It is unusual in that cats have a wrapped ear and somewhat resemble the wellknown breed Scottish Fold. But in Scottish fold the ears are soft, tilted forward and down and located so as to create the impression of a round head. The American curl has large, strong and straight ears with a narrow curl in the center. The tip of the ear is turned to the center and slightly tilted back.
