Rich Goodwin flying another amazing aerobatic stunt display in his modified Pitts S2SE Biplane, the 'Muscle Biplane',during the Duxford Summer Airshow 2022.
This biplane GJPIT was built from scratch over a period of 4 years. It is based on the Pitts S2S Fuselage and incorporates all the tried and tested modifications flying on Richard Goodwins other Pitts S2S, GEWIZ. One major difference is the wing which is a unique design by Eddie Saurenman Aero Works. Bigger ailerons and more wing area give a phenomenal roll rate and better low speed handling. In due course it is planned to add a pair of small jet engines to the fuselage sides and to then display the aircraft as the 'Jet Pitts'.
