Amanda is one of the survivors of the 2002 motel raid in Van Nuys CA. There were 40 cats living in a room in filthy conditions. Most of the cats were sick and had to be euthanized. Amanda is approximately 1013 years old. It's difficult to determine her age because she has no teeth and was very malnourished when rescued. She was adopted shortly after the rescue but was returned to the rescue group in 2010. Amanda is very sprite and affectionate. She loves to sleep with you. She prefers to be the only cat in the home.
