There are many of these devices on the market, with manufacturers offering larger and larger batteries. You can spend some serious money on this type of solution, but going offgrid and having power backup in your home gives people peace of mind, so they are selling like mad.

This is a nicely sized battery. It's still small enough to be 'portable' but, at 1.5kWh of storage, has enough power to keep some highpower devices running during a blackout.
