A compilation of all Quick Time Event (QTE) fails and wins in the Detective Pikachu 3DS game. The button mashing triggers don't fail. The game will always wait for you to start mashing the button.

To trigger the cutscene in chapter 6 where Pikachu bumps into the Yanma camera at GNN, you have to select "Move In" as the third instruction for the Yanma. This is not a qte but it's a fail nonetheless.
In chapter 7, you can trigger a brief shot where Pikachu instructs Tim on how to push the boxes to access the room on the upper level of the warehouse if you select the "I give up" when you talk to Pikachu. The option will only appear after you have pushed some boxes. I didn't include this in this video because there nothing much to it and it's not a qte.
