Reaching No. 13 in UK Singles Chart, the song was O’Neal’s first successful hit in the UK in March 1986 after it peaked at No. 81 in August 1985. Known for its nonrhyming lyrics, the song also reached No. 17 in the Hot R&B/HipHop Songs chart.
