Star Trek many new Starships being introduced with Discovery and the following series but the first we saw was the USS Shenzhou, a Walker Class vessel with quite a bit of design history behind it. The ship was created as the successor to the NX Enterprise style explorer but before Starfleet had the Constitution and it did the job well.
