What machete style to choose? What is the difference between a Bolo machete and a Latin style machete & why I mostly use only one of them.

If you say the word 'machete', most people will be thinking about a typical Latin styled machete. They are very functional tools and lend themselves easily to most tasks but as a Westerner, why would I pick a smaller Bolo machete over it's more capable Latin cousins?

The very simple answer is that generally, the Bolo is a much better fit for how we Westerners tend to use machetes.
