This one... Is RAW!! I am exposing my REAL life!! ADHD is not just in your head!

Real is what I wanted to be with this channel. I know that if I am living like this, there has to be others. PLEASE tell me there are others!!!

For the longest time I have been feeling not good enough, not worthy... Like a failure. I couldn't remember to pay bills unless they came out automatically, I couldn't find room in my brain to remember my best friends birthdays, I would forget to call my mom on mothers day. All while I had felt like I had a million things to do in my own life, then getting so overwhelmed with where to start, that I would spend the entire day worrying about how to get it done, that nothing go done. It is a vicious selffulfilling prophecy.
The worst, above all that, is that you fear that people think you don't care, that you're flakey, that you're lazy. When it is the complete opposite of that. You are trying to think of everything, every possible detail and have it perfect for them, that you loose sight of timelines or hyper focus on something that wasn't that important to anyone else. But that's the thing. Everything is important to you. You just get in your own damn way.

I wanted to write this here so you know that I'm not making light of my diagnosis. I just approach things with a selfdeprecating humour that helps me cope. In the future, I am more than willing to get into a serious video for you guys. But for now, I am still learning how to deal with it and what it means to my life.
