While Peony adores affection and will throw her whole body down to lean into a head rub, she does have some quirks around handling. She may get overstimulated with too much fullbody petting and being picked up makes her so nervous that she will bite to get away. We know that many people want to pick up and hold their cat. Although Peony isn't that kind of cat, she deserves a loving home where her unique personality is celebrated and where she can thrive without the pressure to conform to expectations.

Peony is searching for an adopter who can appreciate her whims and respect her need for autonomy.
