I wanted to make a multipurpose doweling jig for some time.

I made a dowel jig that can be used in many ways. You can easily selfcenter it on a piece of wood and accurately drill a hole. You can join 2 pieces of wood at 90 degrees drill in at the edge of a board and fix it with another one at 90 degrees or drill in anywhere at the face of a board and fix it with another one at 90 degrees. The dowel jig is made for ⌀6 dowels using an ⌀8 spacer.

Dowel joinery is strong and helpful for many woodworking projects. I didn't have a dowel jig in my shop with such options, so I decided to build one.
