Here is a unique find an older smoke detector in a nowvacant jewelry store. Based on its design, I believe this is an Ademco model. I do not know if the device itself sounds, or if it is meant to trigger a central fire alarm system or an emergency dispatch center (it may be hooked up to the store's security system since I used to have a similar detector in my own house.
