Adam A500, an American sixseat twinengine civil utility aircraft that was produced by Adam Aircraft Industries. The aircraft has a distinctive, unusual centerline thrust configuration where its two Continental Motors TSIO550E piston engines are mounted in pushpull configuration: one at the front and one at the back of its fuselage pod. It also features a high wing and a twinboom tail with twin vertical stabilizers, which gives it a very unique and recognizable profile. Unfortunately, despite its innovative design, the Adam A500 faced various challenges and production was ceased following the bankruptcy of Adam Aircraft Industries.
