In this video we install the Leitner Designs Active Cargo System Truck Bed Rack on the AutoEdits Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 Truck! We also mount up a bunch of awesome accessories like the RotoPax water and gas containers and a set of MaxTrax Recovery Pads to help escape any sticky situations.

They offer these racks for almost all pick up truck bed options from long to short. This Ram has the 5 1/2 foot bed.
The Active Cargo System is made from military grade aluminum so it's very light yet extremely strong. The entire rack system weighs less than 70 lbs so your truck won't even notice it.
I opted for several options from the Leitner website for this installation like the standard Cargo Pod and the XL Cargo Pod. Both are made from rotomolded highdensity polyethylene (same as kayaks) have an automotive grade seal around the lid to keep them water resistant and have lockable handles to keep your gear safe.

There's also a mounting setup option for the MAXTRAX Emergency Vehicle Exraction Devices. After getting stranded on one of my last trips... I won't every go off roading without them again!
