Here I'll show you the first part of my video diary of the solo Atlantic crossing, what it's like to cross the Atlantic singlehanded in a small sailing boat. Sailing singlehanded on the vast Atlantic in a small sailing boat has a very special charm. Storms have to be weathered alone. Nobody helps with changing the sails. A sailing adventure where you are completely on your own.
My boat Morsa is a 43 year old, 9.75m long steel sloop.
I started with her on January 8th, 2023 in Las Palmas / Gran Canaria and arrived in Martinique after 31 days. It's simply indescribable to get out of society and plunge into an adventure.
