Are you having an ACDF? Here's what to expect. An entire recovery process from Day 2 through Day 40.

My name is Cassie and on July 25, 2012 I had a single level Anterior Cervical Discectomy and Fusion (ACDF) at C6/C7. I spent a single night in the hospital and went home the next day. Before surgery I did a lot of research and read lots of scary stories that made me very nervous to have the operation. I also saw several YouTube clips that both comforted and terrified me.

My experience with the operation is what I now understand to be a fairly typical one. It wasn't so bad! I wanted to share a single video taking you through my entire recovery process so that you can see what it will be like. This is the video I wish I could have seen before my operation.
