If you are thinking about getting this kind of dog, watch this video to find out more about the breed. This is my experience with this breed after having this type of dog for 45 years. This is a very affectionate, friendly dog but with a high prey instinct and wanderlust. They needs lots of exercise.
** My Blue Tick Coon Hound (the one in this video) is scared of thunder and gun shots!! I don't think all Blue Tick Coon dogs have this tendency. **
