Join me for a walk around the historic heart of what may be England's oldest town of all: AbingdononThames! Situated in the south of the modern county of Oxfordshire, Abingdon's history goes back around 400,000 years and the town has been the site of everything from prehistoric settlements to Roman metalworks, a medieval English abbey, countless pubs, and one of the strangest traditions in England today!
