“Pound” is a special Jingpo cooking techniques! In every Jingpo household, you can find a pestle and a bowl made of bamboo. The tools are special made as well. I dug an old bamboo root in the mountain and spent two days making the pounding bowl. To Jingpo people, everything can be pounded. They can make delicious meal with almost every ingredient.
