Since Armenia has land borders only to/from Georgia and Iran, I crossed from Tbilisi / Georgia with marshrutka to Yerevan. I was held at the GeorgianArmenian border for a long time and questioned because of a small mistake of my own. I had the opportunity to visit Yerevan and the area where the Khor Virap monastery is located for a week and see Mount Ararat, which the Armenians call Ararat, from the opposite perspective. Contrary to what might be expected, there are almost no Turks in Armenia. That's why I experienced very interesting things during my time there. Although Armenia is a neighboring country, we do not have an open border gate. As you know, between Turkey and Armenia and between Armenia and Azerbaijan, countries have unresolved issue basis. Today, the tension between Armenia and Azerbaijan due to the NagornoKarabakh region has reached a very high level and the state of war has made it impossible to visit this geography with the pandemic still prevailing. You can watch the 7 days I spent as a Turk in Yerevan and Khor Virap regions of Armenia during such a period when almost all countries closed their borders. We hope that no more civilian casualties will occur and the war situation between Armenia and Azerbaijan will end as soon as possible.
