The difference between life and death in the Arctic has frequently come down to equipment. Do you have the right transport, hunting equipment, bags, shoes, shelter? In this episode, exhibition curator Amber Lincoln shows us an example of an Alaskan parka, and shows how for those living in the Arctic the sewing needle is just about the most important tool for survival.
