A good training exercise to teach your herding puppy patience and adrenaline control is to chain them to a fence about 30 minutes a day. They will also learn trust and faith in the handler. This video will show you how to get them to feel secure and be quiet while they are chained. Also of importance is how long and position of the chain with a swivel clasp on their collar for safety.
