It was my dermatologist who prescribed this sunscreen to me few years back and at a time when my skin was in its worst phase. I was breaking out left right and centre. He told me to hit a pause on foundations at the time and wear this every day.

It was the BIODERMA PHOTODERM MAX AQUAFLUIDE SPF50+ Teinte Claire ie. tint shade is Light , so it’s apt for lightmedium complexions.

And honestly, it was perfect and continues to be one of my favourite tinted sunscreens till date. It evens out skin so well, makes it look neat and gives a nice lift to complexion, all while giving very high sun protection.

This is a chemical sunscreen with a fluid texture that blends in seamlessly and gives a soft dewy finish. It’s very lightweight and nongreasy and sometimes I set it with powder if I want a more matte look. But make sure to take an optimal amount, as you would a regular untinted sunscreen and don’t hold back because of the tint. It’ll blend out.

The one thing to be careful about is that because its a chemical sunscreen and it has a runny texture, it can sting eyes slightly if you take it too close. I have experienced with all sunscreens with such texture because they often just get into my eyes. Also, my eyes are SUPREMELY sensitive. So I apply it on my lids but I am careful to not take it super close to waterline and lash line. And of course, because this is a chemical sunscreen, pregnant women should not use it.
