Every year thousands of old dogs get abandoned. A lot of pets once they grow old or ill or somebody goes abroad. The owners just gave them up. For a long time they live in different environment and now they don't have a place to live so they live on the streets. Many of them learn how to survive but not all. There are a lot of animals who lost their life by some disease or by accidents every day and no one cares. But there is someone who helps these innocents to start a new life by rescuing them.

The Monkoodog Team spent an entire day with Shreela Debi the Founder of "The Leela's Place" and she told her story and what inspired her to do this. We witnessed the amazing work and also saw the challenges she is facing during the process. She provide them food, shelter, medical treatments, etc.
