A Skirt that ALWAYS Fits: Comfortable History-bounding with the Coquelicot Skirt

Follow
Shannon Makes

This skirt has a 1940s silhouette, but with giant ,18th century pockets and an adjustable waistband to fit your body regardless of weight fluctuation... can it get any better than that?!

In this video, I will be taking a break from a longer project with a fun new historybounding skirt pattern that I’m quite excited about! It’s the Coquelicot Skirt by Wildflower Designs, and there are SO MANY fun features in the skirt that get me excited! It truly seems like the perfect skirt for those who'd like some historical fashion mixed with a healthy dose of practicality and accessibility!

In addition to sewing the skirt, I also reached out to the pattern creator, Melanie, to see if she’d chat a bit with me about the pattern, the inspiration behind it, and her creative process. So join me as I talk with Melanie and get this skirt made up! #coquelicotskirt #historybounding #skirttutorial
