Dauphin Island is a small island off the coast of Alabama in the Gulf of Mexico. It’s a great island to just get away and enjoy some beach time. No matter where you are on the island you can see the bay on one side and the ocean on the other. Dauphin Island is great for everyone. We enjoyed some beach bum time as well as all the ways to fish. We fished off the beach. We went to the pier. We also went out boat fishing in the bay. We enjoyed catching some redfish and sea trout. If you’re more of a history buff Fort Morgan is also located on Dauphin Island. It is on the list of endangered historic sites. Dauphin Island is a relaxing getaway for all.
