A Morning Outside with our Mama Dogs

Follow
Red Barn Cavaliers

Good morning! We have Piper here visiting for just a couple more days. She is Robin's 5monthold puppy with Macchiato. It's really nice outside so I wanted to encourage the dogs to spend some time outside. Ever since we got home from our (2 day) trip, they've been reluctant to spend much time outside. They are all such really good dogs.

Myra is our mama dog who is expecting a litter March 21st. She has been on the stream less because she has been spoiled with staying in our bedroom. Each morning we bring all the dogs outside to get some fresh air and make sure they all run around for a bit to stretch their legs. Myra is definitely slowing down, even though she isn't very big yet. Her puppy belly will begin popping out more soon! We are eager to meet her babies and begin getting to know them!

Welcome to the Red Barn Cavaliers family home! Right now we don't have any litters of puppies, so we stream our moms and dads to help educate viewers about what goes on in the background to ensure the healthiest and happiest moms and dads. As our upcoming moms are bred with our stud dogs, you can follow them live every day as they progress through their pregnancies. We are able to give families the opportunity to watch their puppy's birth live and have it recorded here on YouTube. We try to timestamp every delivery in the descriptions, and you can find a Labor/Delivery playlist on our channel page.

We raise Cavalier King Charles Spaniels with an emphasis on their emotionalsocial development. We raise all of our puppies for the distinct purpose of becoming Emotional Support Animals. This breed of dog has a temperament ripe for therapeutic bonding, and their ability to tune into their handler's emotional needs can't compare to any other breed. We nurture those characteristics to optimize them further.

We potty train our puppies using pine pellets designed for rehydration, beginning between 57 days old. Our puppies typically understand where to go potty within about a week of practice, and they soon learn to use the tray all on their own. By about 67 weeks, they begin waking during the night to use the tray.

Our young puppies are kept in our master bedroom for 24hour observation and care. We leave the audio on so that viewers are able to hear puppy noises, but that means you may overhear some personal interactions.
