These cake pans have been around for as long as 100 years before Nordic Ware trademarked the name "Bundt" in 1950. There are many designs of these pans, though thanks to the popularity of the Bundt pan, folks simply refer to any circular cake pan as a "bundt" pan. But regardless of what you call it, it's a magnificent cast iron pan that will produce a beautiful and delicious cake.
