A Hot Rod Celebration 2023
In July 2023, I was invited to a private event to show our appreciation to Hot Rod builder, Dave Haskell.
Dave is a wellknown Hot Rod builder in the UK and has been building Traditional Style Hot Rods for a few decades. Earlier this year, one of his customers and good friend, Steve Barnard, had the idea of throwing a celebration party to celebrate Dave and all he has done in the custom scene.
In this video, I take you with me and show you the vehicles that attended, all of which were built by Dave. These included a handful of 1931 1934 Ford Coupes, Sedans, and a rather nice black pickup, a '40s Ford pickup, a couple of Ford Populars, a wicked Zephyr Zodiac, and more.
Unfortunately, my Ford Pop Hot Rod, 'Pop Daddy', isn't on the road at the moment but due to popular demand, I have dug out some old videos and photos and included them in this video. I also show images from a photoshoot I had which kickstarted my career as a commercial photographer.
So buckle up, if you have seatbelts, and join me on this Hot Rod Celebration.
If you are interested in a bespoke photoshoot of your vehicle, please get in touch.
