If you're looking for an easy little escape from the hustle and bustle of Tokyo, just one hour away is the gorgeous coastal town of Kamakura!

Full of Shinto shrines and Buddhist temples to explore (and LOTS of delicious street food stalls to visit on the way!), Kamakura is a quick and culturefilled day trip spot.

After six visits to Japan, visiting this seaside city was heavily underlined on my totravelto list, and I finally made that a reality for #hijessicanneinjapan season 3! And spoiler alert, it was 100% as lovely to visit as everyone says it is.
