A Day in my Life Living in Melbourne Australia! | VLOG

Welcome back to another Melbourne Vlog! This was filmed around 2 weeks ago and so much has changed since then. We have now passed our 70% double dose vaccine milestone. Last week on Friday restrictions were eased and we were finally able to go back to some sense of normality.

Melbourne residents have spent 262 days in lockdown over 2020 and 2021. Now the focus is shifting to vaccination targets rather than the daily case numbers. Meaning that when we reach 80% double dosed, we can enjoy even more freedoms. I vlogged our first day out of lockdown so stay tuned!

In today's video my housemate, Chloe, and I take on the streets of Melbourne. We had the best time running around getting coffee on Collins St, taking the wrong tram and ending up in Southbank rather than the Post Office, looking out at the Yarra River and passing Melbourne Exhibition Centre which is currently a vaccination centre.

We then headed to Chanel (not to buy anything unfortunately haha) but to take photos outside of the aesthetic white building! Of course, we had to wave at cars that passed in hopes of getting a wave back. Afterwards, we walked toward Federation square and talked to the sweetest, most wholesome people.We asked them what they did to stay positive during lockdown as well as what they're looking forward to for when lockdown is over.

While we got lunch at Guzman Y Gomez, we bumped into our friends Adam and James. We walked with them to the State Library and interviewed them about their TikTok as well as a few other general things.

When we got home, Chloe and I watched Gossip Girl (I've never seen it). I ended up watching three episodes in a row haha

At the end of the video we did a little apartment shopping haul and then looked out at the views from the balcony. Don't think there's a better way to end the night than that!
