We all share some similarities with Satan—pride, selfrule, and rebellion. It starts with our tongues, as we are filled with slander and silent about Christ. Then there are the unclean lusts and the desire for control. Finally, we deceive ourselves so that we can’t even sense our own evil.

We must put these desires to death by our faith in Christ. We must give up whatever it takes in order to free.
