Thank you all for your ongoing support! It means a bunch more than you all will ever know! I've been thinking I might do a sort of Loki themed soundscape soon, maybe once season one finishes and we finally figure out just who's behind the TVA! (I'm excited!) But yeah! Story

In a normal setting, the holidays are the busiest time of year with shopping, decorating, parties and so much more; you did not find yourself in that ‘normal setting’. Being part of the Avengers meant nothing was considered normal and the holidays were no exception.

All the Avengers had gathered for a large party at the Avengers Compound to celebrate the holidays with a slew of people lining up to party at Christmas. Tony had the entire compound decked out in reds, whites and greens, with a large Christmas tree in the main lobby. You had helped with decorating the tree and loved how earlier Thor and Tony argued about who put the star on top of the tree. Everyone had a session together with wrapping gifts through a ‘Secret Santa’, which was amusing to teach Thor about the Midgard traditions. There was lots of food for all the guests that showed up, thanks to Pepper planning ahead.

It was later in the evening as you sat in one of the separate rooms next to the fireplace. You were wearing a red sweater and a long dark green skirt, showing your love for the festive season. And yet, you didn’t feel like mingling with people as you isolated yourself. You could still hear the conversations happening in the background of the others, they were certainly in the festive mood and the music certainly helped.

You were swaying your head gently to the tunes so you almost didn’t hear the creak of the door open until footsteps got closer to you. You turn your head and a smile made its way across your face at seeing your two Super Soldiers coming to check on you.

Bucky and Steve both came to sit next to you on the large sofa in front of the fireplace to make sure you were ok. “You ok?” Bucky was first to ask and you assured him, “Yeah I’m alright. Just not in the mood to mingle.”

Steve was next to be concerned and asked, “What’s goin' on?” You let out a sigh as you stretched comfortable between the two. “Well….Christmas is my favorite time of year, but sometimes others can ruin it. Take Tony for example; he’s convinced Thor that the ‘mistletoe kiss’ is a contest so they are both running around with mistletoe to see who can get the most kisses by the end of the night.”

Steve shook his head with a chuckle and Bucky retorted, “See? Told you, they’re all idiots.” You laughed and added to Bucky’s comment, “Well Tony says Christmas is the time of year you get an excuse to act like an idiot….only he does it year round so….” The three of you laugh with each other at Tony’s expense, an activity you have come to love.

You then leaned over to pick up two Santa hats on a nearby table and placed one on each of their heads. “Besides, I wouldn’t want to be under the mistletoe with anyone other than my two favorite Super Soldiers.” You lean to each of them and give them both a quick kiss on their lips. “Merry Christmas Bucky. Merry Christmas Steve.” Both return the kisses to you and cuddle on the couch with you in front of the fire, you held lovingly between both men; you couldn’t ask for a better gift for Christmas.
