This A10 Thunderbolt air show demo video was taken on the First Day of the Tampa Bay Airfest 2024 at MacDill Air Force Base. I used a small Sony DSC HX80 Camera with a super zoom lens to record this A10 Thunderbolt Warthog Close Air Support (CAS) demo. Awesome to see and hear the A10 Thunderbolt in action in Tampa! Wow, seeing this A10 Thunderbolt Warthog Close Air Support demonstration at MacDill Air Force Base was super impressive!

The A10 Thunderbolt offers excellent maneuverability at low airspeeds and altitude while maintaining a highly accurate weaponsdelivery platform. They can loiter near battle areas for extended periods, are capable of austere landings, and operate under 1,000foot ceilings (303.3 meters) with 1.5mile (2.4 kilometers) visibility. Additionally, with the capability of carrying precisionguided munitions and unguided munitions, they can be employed above, below, and in the weather. Their wide combat radius and short takeoff and landing capability permit operations in and out of locations near the front lines. Using night vision goggles, A10 Thunderbolt pilots can conduct their missions during darkness.
