American professional eater Randy Santel versus Midtown BBQ's 3kg Japanese "Dinosaur" Barbecue Platter Challenge meant to serve 48 hungry people at Midtown BBQ Tokyo near the Tokyo Dome in the Chiyoda City, Iidabashi neighborhood of Tokyo, Japan in East Asia!! My girlfriend @KatinaEatsKilos and I left Seoul, South Korea in East Asia and flew to Tokyo, Japan where I attempted 3 big Japanese competitive eating challenges around the greater Tokyo metro area. For final Japanese food challenge #3, I headed to Midtown BBQ Tokyo so I could attempt their massive and delicious 3kg Japanese "Dinosaur" BBQ Platter Challenge which is meant to be shared by families and/or groups of 48 hungry people. I had a one sitting time limit to feast on a few boneless chicken thighs (with skin on), some slowsmoked pulled pork topped with their homemade barbecue sauce, a few different pork sausages, a full rack of BBQ pork spare ribs, and 3 double side items. For the doubled sides, I ordered 2 scoops of their mashed potatoes, a double order of French fries, and 4 buttered dinner rolls. The small side of coleslaw was just optional and so was the Oreo Milkshake and beer featured in this video. Tall Boys Brewing Co. is owned and operated by the same company that owns all 3 Midtown BBQ locations around Japan. I was trying to become just the 3rd champion to finish within one sitting and win my ¥9,800 Japanese yen (~$70 USD) BBQ feast free plus a sweet tshirt, a groovy hat, and my name & photo posted on the Midtown BBQ Tokyo location's Wall of Fame.
