8 Things Cats HATE

Number 1 – Strangers

Stranger danger is typically taken literally by cats. Again, each cat is unique at the end of the day. Although there are undoubtedly cats that don't mind meeting new people, the majority err on the side of caution. When strange people arrive, cats often either keep their distance or hide. Cats, as a safety measure, despise strangers. Keep in mind that since cats are territorial animals, your house is their territory.

So they must maintain their distance when a stranger enters that area until they can decide whether or not the stranger poses a threat. The golden rule is to allow the cat to come to them rather than the other way around because of this. Some cats are more receptive to new persons than others,

Number 2 . Dirty Litter Boxes
No one enjoys cleaning a litter box. Because of this, inexperienced cat owners may be tempted to forgo scooping. But doing this simply invites calamity. Because going outside is a cat's natural nature, they constantly seek out a clean, dry area to discharge themselves. Cats detest dirty bathrooms since they are also exceptionally tidy creatures. To be frank... A dirty litter box will make a cat despise it and make them switch to another one. After all, wouldn't you seek out another location to use the restroom if you found one to be filthy?

It's crucial to maintain the litter box clean to avoid unwanted bathroom behaviors. You must consistently scoop the box at least once per day.

Number 3 . Being Ignored

If you're new to the "cat world," you might have been taken aback by this one. Contrary to popular opinion, the majority of cats detest it when their owners ignore them. Cats are more nuanced than dogs when it comes to their need for and desire for attention. A cat may give head bunts or loiter nearby, unlike a dog that may wag its tail and dash around excitedly.

Cats seek attention on their own terms and frequently don't make as many demands as do dogs. However, cats typically desire massages, cuddles, and playfulness on a daily basis. Just so you know, some cats form such a close attachment with their humans that they experience anxiety when left alone.

Number 4 . Being Held Like Simba

If you're viewing this, it's safe to assume that you've probably already seen The Lion King. Who can forget the classic scene from the Circle of Life song where infant Simba is raised in the air? Some cat parents imitate this sequence with their feline companions as a tribute to the movie. Your cat despises being "Lion Kinged," despite the fact that you and the internet might find this stance entertaining.

They don't dislike the movie at all. Instead, in this situation, your cat feels uncontrollable. For cats to feel completely at ease, they need to be in control of themselves. This extends beyond just doing the "Lion King posture," as cats detest being made to perform any task against their will.
