Newfoundland is my favorite place in the world, but there are unique challenges here. Combine these with a few more common challenges, and you might find that this isn't the place where you will live your best life. On the other hand, sometimes all it takes is some advance notice so you can prepare for the hard stuff, and then you won't be caught off guard.
